200 Children Among 506 Killed Since Israeli Attacks Resumed: Gaza Health Ministry

Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that 506 Palestinians, including 200 children, have been killed and 909 injured since Israel resumed attacks on Tuesday. 85 people have been killed since dawn alone.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of a “larger and stronger front” in the occupied West Bank, alongside a “fierce war against Hamas” in Gaza.

The overall death toll in Israel’s war on Gaza has now reached 49,617 confirmed deaths, with 112,950 wounded, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. However, the Gaza Government Media Office states that more than 61,700 people are dead, including thousands still buried under the rubble.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military has restricted movement along Salah al-Din Street, a key road connecting northern and southern Gaza, as it seeks to expand a buffer zone dividing the enclave. A new ground operation has been launched in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.

Hamas, which says it remains committed to the January ceasefire agreement, is engaging with mediators to halt the deadly Israeli attacks. The group has urged “pressure using all possible means, politically and popularly,” to stop the offensive.
