21 Arab, Islamic, and African Nations Call for Immediate End to Israeli Hostilities Against Iran

Arab Muslim Israel

A coalition of 21 Arab, Islamic, and African nations issued a joint statement urging an immediate end to “Israeli hostilities” against Iran and calling for a comprehensive ceasefire to restore calm in the region.

Foreign ministers from countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, and Chad expressed deep concern over the recent “dangerous escalation” of Israeli attacks on Iran since Friday. The statement, reported by Xinhua news agency, warned that the ongoing conflict risks seriously undermining regional peace and stability.

The ministers condemned Israel’s actions as violations of international law and the UN Charter, highlighting the importance of respecting state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful dispute resolution. They called for the establishment of a Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, urging all regional countries to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The statement also stressed that a return to negotiations remains the only viable path toward a sustainable agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.

Since early Friday, Israel has conducted airstrikes on Tehran and other locations across Iran, killing several top military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. In retaliation, Iran has launched multiple missile and drone strikes targeting various sites in Israel, resulting in casualties and significant damage.
