A Muslim youth, who resided in Tikri, Govindgarh, Rajasthan, allegedly died while in police custody in Faridabad, Haryana.

Saikul Khan, 29, was taken into custody by the police from Faridabad Sector 19, on July 20 at around 10 PM.

His family received a call from the police, urging them to visit him, only to discover that he had lost his life while in custody.

The bereaved family members claim that the body bore deep injury marks, raising serious questions about the circumstances of his death.

According to Saikul Khan’s friend, who preferred to remain anonymous due to safety concerns, he was last seen riding on a motorcycle with an unidentified individual when the police intervened.

Shortly after the interception, the family received the shocking news of Saikul’s arrest, with assurances that he would be presented in court the following day.

“He had no prior criminal record and was actively preparing for government examinations. He had recently entered a new phase of life, having tied the knot just a couple of months ago,” he said.

A close friend of Saikul’s friend, who happens to be a police officer, said that he witnessed Saikul in a severely beaten state during his time at the police station.
