The Maharashtra state government has issued directives to enhance the security for Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, elevating his security status to the Y+ category. This decision comes in response to a formal complaint highlighting threats to the actor’s life, which have reportedly increased following the success of his recent films, “Pathan” and “Jawan.”

Initially, he was provided with security by two police constables, along with his personal bodyguard. However, following recommendations from a high-power committee, the government has now assigned him Y+ security.

Under this new security arrangement, Shah Rukh Khan will be accompanied by a team of six highly trained commandos from the state’s VIP security unit at all times. This team is equipped with MP5 submachine guns, AK-47 assault rifles, and Glock pistols. They will ensure his safety around the clock.

In addition to this elite security detail, four Mumbai police officers will be stationed at his residence, providing 24-hour protection. They will also keep a close watch on people coming and going near his house.

These security measures have been put in place to safeguard Shah Rukh Khan as he moves from one location to another. When traveling in his vehicle, he will be accompanied by a trained commando, and a traffic clearance vehicle will precede his car to ensure smooth movement through traffic, preventing any potential obstructions.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ has been setting new records at the box office, grossing a staggering 1103.27 crores worldwide within just a month of its release.
