Narsinghgarh town in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh is in shock after the killing of 50-year-old Haji Maksood on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Maksood, a local crusher businessman, was found with multiple deep cuts and injuries on his body and head, indicating he was attacked with sharp-edged weapons. He collapsed at his crusher plant in the Gadia area and was rushed to the government hospital but died during treatment.

The violent nature of the attack has sparked anger among residents, who protested with his body on the streets demanding swift justice.

The police claim to have arrested suspects, but they have not revealed their identities or the motive behind the attack.

Local residents have accused right-wing groups of involvement in the killing and have criticized the police for allegedly protecting these groups.

An investigation team has been formed, and the police say they are looking into all angles of the case.
