Two Hybrid Terrorists Arrested in Sopore During Joint Operation, Says J&K Police

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said that two hybrid terrorists were arrested during a joint operation with security forces in the Moominabad area of Sopore.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Sopore Police identified the two arrested men as Shabir Najar and Shabir Mir. “Two hybrid terrorists, Shabir Najar and Shabir Mir, were arrested during a joint operation launched by Police and security forces in Moominabad, Sopore. Incriminating materials, arms, and ammunition were recovered. Investigation is going on,” the police said.

Officials confirmed that the seized items included arms and other incriminating materials from their possession. Police said that a detailed investigation into the case is currently underway.
