Hundreds of people from both Hindu and Muslim communities came together on Tuesday for a Roza Iftar organised by Haji Usman Ansari, Chairman of Raja’s A.H.M. Paramedical College in Tajpur, Nurpur, Bijnor, and a senior leader of the Azad Samaj Party. The event, held at the college premises, was marked by a spirit of communal harmony and shared celebration.
Ramadan Is a Month of Blessings and Brotherhood, Says Ansari
Speaking at the gathering, Haji Usman Ansari, who has also previously contested elections as a BSP candidate, said the month of Ramzan carries immense spiritual significance. He described it as a time when Allah forgives the sins of his servants and said the holy month stands as a symbol of humanity and brotherhood among all people.
Ansari urged people of every religion to participate in each other’s festivals and celebrations. He said such participation builds bonds of brotherhood across communities and that all religious festivals deserve respect and recognition.
Special Prayers Offered for Peace and National Unity
During the Iftar, special prayers were offered for the safety and security of the country and for strengthening mutual brotherhood between communities. The gathering brought together community members, professionals and leaders from across the region under one roof to share in the occasion.
Among those present were business leaders Mehboob Alam Salmani and Naeem Ahmed Advocate, Sardar Kamaljit Singh Noor, Vineet Kumar, Zulfkar Ahmed, Naushad Ahmed Abbasi, Dr. Fayyaz Ahmed Ansari, Nawab Ahmed, Tarun Kumar, Dr. Zahid Ansari, Shahzeb Ansari and Awez Ansari.
