One of her sisters is an MD doctor, while another is currently pursuing medical studies. Sana, the youngest among them, has now achieved success in one of the country’s most competitive examinations.

Sana completed her secondary education from Rahmania Academy in Dhulian and passed her Higher Secondary examination from Al-Ameen Mission in 2019. She later moved to Delhi for higher studies, where she pursued both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Jamia Millia Islamia University. It was during her time in Delhi that she began preparing seriously for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

A Dream to Serve in the IPS

12 Hours of Study Every Day

According to her father, Sana remained fully focused on her studies and rarely distracted herself with anything else. “She used to study almost 12 hours a day. Her success is the result of years of hard work and determination. I always wanted her to get a government job. Today I’m proud that she’s fulfilled her dream,” Maizuddin Sheikh told The Observer Post.

A Mother’s Pride

Her mother also expressed immense pride in her daughter’s achievement. She stated, “We always dreamed that our children would succeed in life. Even though our family had financial difficulties, we never let our children feel the burden and always supported their education.”

An Inspiration for Rural Youth

Coming from the remote village of Kabilpur in Sagardighi, Sana’s success in one of India’s toughest examinations is being celebrated across the district. Residents say her achievement will inspire many young students from rural areas to pursue their dreams through hard work and dedication.
