A Class 11 Dalit student at a government inter college in Ghaziabad’s Tyodhi 13 Biswa village has accused two teachers of physically assaulting him and using casteist slurs against him.

The incident reportedly took place at the Government Inter College in the Bhojpur police station area. The student, identified as Ruban, is a resident of the same village.

Ruban alleged that the two teachers had repeatedly humiliated him and threatened to remove his name from the school register. He claimed that when he reached the college on Wednesday, the teachers assaulted him and subjected him to caste-based abuse.

After returning home, he informed his family about the alleged incident.

His family members, accompanied by Azad Samaj Party workers, approached the Bhojpur police station and submitted a written complaint, demanding prompt action against the teachers.

However, college principal Vidyavati denied that any such incident had taken place. She described the allegations as false and said all students were treated equally at the institution.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Modinagar, Siddharth Gautam said the matter was being investigated. He added that further action would be taken after the inquiry.
