In Sullia, Karnataka, a group of individuals allegedly assaulted a young Muslim man named Niyaz after it was discovered that he had been messaging a local young woman from another community. Niyaz is currently receiving treatment at a hospital for his injuries.
According to eyewitness accounts, the situation escalated when a group of youths confronted Niyaz over his messages. They reportedly called him to a location where they attacked him, leading to serious injuries.
Local authorities have responded to the incident, and a case has been registered at the Subrahmanya police station.
