“To Live in Hindustan, One Must Chant Radhe Radhe”: UP Minister Mayankeshwar Sharam Singh

Uttar Pradesh Minister Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh has triggered a controversy by his statement at a religious event in the state’s Amethi district.

“If you want to live in Hindustan you must Chand Radhe Radhe,”(Hindustan me rehna hai to Radhe Radhe kehna hai) he was heard saying during a religious event held at Ram Katha park which sparked controversy as the video went viral.

Mayankeshwar was an MLA from Tiloi assembly seat in the Amethi district.

Earlier, another controversial statement by Nand Kishore Gurjar, a member of UP’s legislative assembly went viral.

“Don’t go to dargas, jihadis are buried there who have committed atrocities on our Hindu women,” he had said.

Reacting to his remarks, Samajwadi Party which is the main opposition party of the state condemned and accused the ruling party of disturbing communal harmony.

“The BJP wants to disturb communal harmony and peace, action should be taken against the minister,” said a senior leader of SP.
