Textile minister Giriraj Singh incited Hindu population with inflammatory hate-speeches during “Hindu Swabhiman Yatra” on October 22 at Kishanganj, Bihar.
After the hateful statements against the Indian Muslim community in which the minister intentionally instigated the mob to stir-up violence, AIMIM filed a case to find lawful solutions.
During a power-show rally in the city, Giriraj Singh instigated Hindu community to keep weapons; swords, spears, and tridents and equip themselves against Muslims. He also addressed Muslim community as “Infiltrators”.
Taking action on the inflammatory slurs to protect peace, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leaders registered a case at Kishanganj court under BNS 196,197, 299, 302, 61(2), 153(A), 153(B), 295(A), 298, and 120(B).
Already Predicted
AIMIM already predicted and warned about Giriraj’s intentions regarding Hindu Swabhiman Yatra while tracing the pre-Yatra atmosphere of Kishanganj.
“Giriraj sees Pakistan in Kishanganj!” AIMIM state president Akhtarul Iman told the media before the Yatra started. He already warned that Giriraj Singh would talk about “Topi and Tika” as he would not like the concord between the two communities.
Giriraj Singh’s Islamophobic remarks at the Yatra are being slammed by the aware people and civil society. Joining the row, RJD leader Sanjay Yadav said that “Giriraj is not a Kapda-Mantri but it seems like BJP has appointed him as Lafda Mantri”.
Manipulative Statements To Provoke The Masses
As per the reports of ABP news, soon after Giriraj Singh joined the Yatra at Kishanganj he was caught-up in a jiggle with policemen. He embarked on mumbling Hanuman Chalisa when the police asked him to give a side in the rally.
“If any infiltrator Muslim slaps you one time, you should unite to slap him a hundred times”, he said in the rally.
“You all should keep the weapons of Mahadeva, Durga and Kali in your houses” he said appealing the Hindu masses. “Worship these weapons at your house and safeguard (attack) if someone comes in”, he added.
Responding to his call, the public shouted “Har Har Mahadev!”
The Pilgrimage of ‘Hate’
The Hindu Swabhiman Yatra embarked on October 18 and reached Kishanganj on October 22. Before Kishanganj, the BJP leader had already addressed the Hindu Mob in Katihar, Araria and Purniya.
During the Yatra, Giriraj Singh uttered many controversial statements and used conspiracy theories.
In Arariya, BJP leader Pradeep Singh also joined the hate-mission with chants of “Jai Shree Ram” and “Arariya mein rehna hai, to Hindu banna hoga” (If you want to live in Arariya, you have to become a Hindu).
As a frequent hate-offender, Giriraj Singh has a record of inflammatory speeches against the Muslims and minorities.
