The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, offering condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.

In a press statement, AIMPLB President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani voiced serious concern over the explosion that shook one of the most iconic and sensitive areas of the national capital. He urged the government to ensure a “comprehensive, unbiased, and multi-dimensional investigation” into the incident.

Maulana Rahmani said, “If the explosion was accidental, it is a very unfortunate tragedy that has taken many innocent lives and caused great suffering. But if it was an act of terrorism, it is deeply worrying and raises serious questions about the country’s security system, especially when even the most secure areas in the capital are not safe.”

He added that during this time of grief, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board stands in solidarity with the families affected by the tragedy and prays for the recovery of all those injured.
