“All Indians, Especially Muslims, Will Stand with the Armed Forces in Case of War”: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Backs Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Madani has issued a strong statement in support of the Indian armed forces and the sovereignty of the nation, following the recent attack in Pahalgam and India’s subsequent military action under Operation Sindoor.

In his statement, Maulana Madani said that defending the country is a collective responsibility shared by all Indians. “India is our homeland, and its defense is both our national and constitutional responsibility. Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has always upheld the values of patriotism, peace, and unity. At a time when our borders are under threat, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our brave soldiers,” he declared.

He further asserted that if Pakistan were to escalate the situation into war, the response from Indian citizens would be firm and united. “Should Pakistan impose a war, we want to state in unequivocal terms that the entire country—people of all religions, especially Muslims—will stand with the Indian armed forces,” he said.

Calling on the Indian government to act with resolve, Madani urged a decisive reply to any hostile actions. “We urge the Government of India to deliver a strong and fitting response to every hostile action. The world must know that India, united as one nation, will defend its land at all costs.”

He added that the organization would intensify its efforts across the country to promote a spirit of unity, patience, and sacrifice during this challenging time.
