Ayodhya Seer Announces ₹5 Crore Bounty to Kill Aamir Khan Over Marriage to Gauri Spratt

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has received an open death threat from Ayodhya-based religious leader Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya, who publicly announced a reward of Rs 5 crore for anyone who kills the actor over his recent marriage to Gauri Spratt.

Paramhans Acharya, the head of Tapasvi Chhawani in Ayodhya, made the remarks while backing Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane’s criticism of Aamir Khan. In a video statement that has gone viral on social media, the seer also claimed he would bear the legal expenses of anyone who carried out the attack.

Seer Links Marriage to ‘Love Jihad’

Speaking to IANS, Paramhans Acharya alleged that Aamir Khan’s marriages were part of an attempt to promote what he described as “love jihad.”

“Aamir Khan has married three times, and all three of his marriages have been to Hindu women. At this stage in his life, he is doing nothing but promoting ‘love jihad’. He is trapping our Hindu sisters and daughters,” he said.

Escalating his remarks further, the seer declared, “I am openly declaring that I will give a reward of Rs 5 crore to anyone who kills Aamir Khan. The money will reach their family, and I will personally bear the entire cost of their legal battle.”

The statement has triggered widespread criticism online, with many social media users and legal observers describing it as an open incitement to violence.

Threat Follows Political Criticism

The threat comes days after Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane referred to Aamir Khan as the “brand ambassador of love jihad” following reports of the actor’s marriage to Gauri Spratt.

Rane had also urged Hindu audiences to think carefully before watching the actor’s films, linking Aamir’s personal life with broader communal allegations.

Before the political remarks, members of the Bajrang Dal had staged protests against Aamir Khan’s marriage, burning his effigy and accusing him of deliberately marrying Hindu women. The protests were held despite the marriage being a consensual relationship between two adults.

No Response From Aamir Khan Yet

According to reports, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt were married in a private registered ceremony at the actor’s Bandra residence earlier this month, attended by close family members and friends.

Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and filmmaker Kiran Rao. He has publicly rejected allegations of “love jihad” in the past, stating that neither of his former wives converted to Islam during their marriages.

Neither Aamir Khan nor his representatives have issued any official statement regarding the death threat.
