A mosque in Beed was attacked early in the morning when two men, Vijay Ghavane and Shriram Sagde, set off an explosion using gelatin sticks, damaging the floor and causing cracks in the walls. The blast occurred around 2:30 AM, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Beed’s Superintendent of Police, Navneet Konwat, responded to the incident, stating, “We have arrested both the accused in this case. A call for maintaining peace in the village has been made. A thorough investigation will be conducted, and strict action will be taken against the accused.”
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also commented on the incident, saying, “We have received all the details of the incident. The SP will provide you with all the information.”

The explosion took place at a mosque in the Ardhamsala village, located in the Gevrai taluka of Beed, around 3 AM. Police have taken immediate action, arresting the two individuals involved. Upon receiving the information, the police began investigating the site, with Superintendent Konwat reaching the village early in the morning.

Virendra Mishra, the Special Inspector General of Police for the Aurangabad region, also visited the site. A case has been registered against the two accused at the Talwada police station. The Bomb Detection and Forensic teams have examined the scene, and the investigation is ongoing. The police have urged people to maintain peace.
Before carrying out the blast at the mosque, one of the accused, Vijay Ghavane, made a reel on Instagram. In the video, he is seen holding gelatin sticks and smoking a cigarette, while a song plays in the background saying, “Stay disciplined, I am not some scrap metal.” Police have arrested both Vijay Ghavane and Shriram Sagde in connection with the incident. The video showed the accused playing with fire, a disturbing prelude to the explosion that followed.
