Sabreen Parveen Emerges as Joint State Topper
Sabreen Parveen from Higher Secondary School, Chhaudahi, Chehra Kala block, Vaishali, emerged as the joint state topper along with Pushpanjali Kumari. Both secured 492 marks, or 98.4%. Sabreen’s achievement brought pride to her family, village, and school, with neighbours, teachers, and well-wishers visiting her home to congratulate her.
Speaking about her success, Sabreen said, “Self-study and regular classes at a nearby coaching centre were the key to my preparation. Studying daily should be as essential as eating or performing daily chores. I was confident of scoring well but did not expect to be the state topper.”
Family Support and Hard Work Behind Success
Sabreen credited her family for their support. Her father, Mohammad Shehzad Alam, runs an old tire shop in Rampurhat, West Bengal, while her mother manages the household. Despite limited financial means, they ensured their daughters received proper education. Sabreen, the eldest among three sisters, said, “The encouragement from my family gave me real strength. Their love and guidance helped me reach this milestone.”
