Mohammad Irshad Alam, popularly known as Guddu Badshah, a 28-year-old resident of Rajpur village under Kishanpur Police Station in Bihar’s Supaul district, was allegedly murdered in a brutal attack in southeast Delhi’s Pul Prahladpur area.
Known among local youth and widely popular in his hometown, Guddu Badshah’s killing has sparked outrage both in Delhi and Bihar, with many demanding swift action against those responsible.
Throat Slit, Multiple Gunshots Fired
According to preliminary reports, the attack took place late at night. Guddu Badshah was allegedly assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon before being shot multiple times. Reports claim the attackers slit his throat, severely injured his legs, and then opened fire, with between seven and eleven rounds reportedly fired at him.
Another person who was with Guddu Badshah was also injured in the attack. He survived and is undergoing medical treatment.
Police Probe Underway
Delhi Police have launched an investigation into the murder. Officials have recovered empty cartridges from the crime scene, collected CCTV footage from nearby locations, and formed multiple teams to trace and arrest the accused.
The motive behind the killing has not yet been officially established, and police have not disclosed the identities of the suspects.
Family Awaits Justice
Guddu Badshah’s body has been taken to his native village in Supaul district, where his last rites will be performed in the presence of family members and residents.
The incident has triggered widespread anger on social media, with many calling for a thorough investigation and speedy justice for the victim.
