On seeing the police, Shehzad ran from the roof and while running he died falling from the roof, he had fallen on the road. Neeraj Kumar said that the case had been registered based on the complaint filed by the family members, and he became aware of a video related to the incident, which had been forwarded to him by villagers. In the video, some police personnel can be seen running away from the spot, leaving the injured Shehzad on the spot.

The other side of the story

Another video on the incident has come to light where a woman named Shamsheera, in her interview with the media, alleged that her uncle (Shehzad) was killed by the police personnel who had forcefully entered the house and also threatened her.

“The main door was locked, and I was busy with my chores. Then I suddenly saw a man peeking from the wall, who asked me to open the door. The moment I opened the door, a group of police personnel entered the house and ran towards the terrace. I asked them what had happened, but they did not stop and also threatened me,” said Shamsheera.

Shamsheera accused the police of assaulting both her and her family, which led to the death of her uncle.

“The police started thrashing my husband and my uncle. When they were done, they came downstairs, wherein, I tried to stop them, but they pushed me away, and I fell to the ground. My uncle (Shehzad) has died. Those policemen have killed my uncle. They first beat him up, smashed a brick on his head, and then threw him off the terrace,” she said.
