Ghaziabad: Muslim Teacher Heckled for ‘Using Chocolates to Convert Hindu Children’

In Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad, residents of the Gaur Siddhartham Society heckled a Muslim teacher, accusing him of attempting to convert Hindu children by distributing chocolates. The teacher, who was providing tuition to the children was handed over to Vijayanagar Police, following the allegations.

The incident reported late on Friday evening, involved claims from a woman in the society stating that her son was approached by the accused teacher on the second floor of G-Block. According to the complainant, the accused pressured the child to renounce Hinduism in favour of Islam, offering chocolates as incentives. The child, upon reaching home frightened, revealed the encounter to his relatives.

However, questions have arisen regarding the credibility of the accusations, as it is now suggested that Hindu organizations, including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), might be exploiting the incident for their agenda.

ACP Kotwali Nimish Patil stated, “The matter of trying to convert children by feeding them chocolate has come to our notice. Based on the complaint, a report will be registered, and action will be taken in this matter.”
