The Haryana government has suspended mobile internet and bulk SMS services in Nuh district and banned the sale of non-vegetarian food along the route of the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra, which will take place on July 14.

Internet services will be suspended from 9 PM on July 13 to 9 PM on July 14. SMS services related to banking and mobile recharge will remain active.

A one-day ban has been imposed on the sale and public display of meat, fish, or any non-vegetarian food items on July 14 along the yatra route — from Nalhad Mahadev Temple to Jhir Keshwar Mahadev Temple and up to Singar Temple.

All schools in Nuh district will remain closed on July 14 as a precaution. Traffic diversions will be in place for heavy vehicles entering from nearby areas like Alwar, Delhi, and Gurugram.

To ensure smooth conduct of the yatra, 24 Duty Magistrates and 22 units of police and paramilitary forces will be deployed. Night-vision drones will be used for surveillance. The administration has also banned the use of drones, microlights, kites, and fireworks on July 13 and 14. Additionally, the open sale of petrol and diesel during the yatra has been prohibited.

Cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi, accused in the 2023 Nuh violence during a similar yatra, has been denied permission to participate. His social media accounts have also been suspended.

In 2023, a similar procession was marred by violence that resulted in the deaths of two home guards and injuries to over 15 others.
