In Photos: Protests Persist at Jamia Millia Islamia Over Student Suspensions

Tensions remain high at Jamia Millia Islamia as students continue to protest against the suspension of their peers, demanding immediate reinstatement.

On Monday, February 17, students from multiple departments boycotted classes and staged demonstrations in solidarity with the suspended students.

The protest began around 12 PM at the university’s Hygienic Canteen, with students marching to the Dean’s office to submit a memorandum calling for the revocation of the suspensions.

Despite the growing unrest, the administration has yet to respond, prolonging the standoff.
