Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led the Tiranga Yatra on Monday, joining thousands of participants, including public representatives and officials, in a walkathon to promote national unity and pride.

Highlighting the success of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, Sinha said, “The campaign in J-K has evolved into a people’s movement. May our beloved and victorious Tricolor fly high in the world.” He encouraged citizens to take home the National Flag, hoist it with pride and honor, and actively participate in the campaign.

Sinha said the campaign was a testament to the collective commitment to nation-building and fostering a personal connection with the Tricolor. He expressed gratitude towards the citizens for their “pivotal role” in making the Yatra a resounding success.

Over the past two years, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has seen widespread support from various segments of society across the union territory. The Lieutenant Governor urged the public to engage in various activities, including Tiranga rallies, concerts, and pledges, to further enhance the campaign’s reach.

During the event, Sinha released a monograph dedicated to the “martyrs and bravehearts of Jammu and Kashmir” and launched the Tiranga signature campaign.
