Under the guidance of Maulana Shaukat Ali Mazhahiri and Maulana Kaleemuzzama Qasmi (Rector, Darul Uloom Rasheedia, Memon Sadat, Bijnor), a grand Women’s Conference was organized in Afzalgarh, Uttar Pradesh, alongside the foundation ceremony for a new Inter Girls’ College on February 3, 2025.

The event, held with the vision of promoting women’s education, witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 10,000 women from districts such as Sambhal, Meerut, Chandpur, Gajraula, Moradabad, and Noornagar.

Prominent women’s rights activist Dr. Asma Zehra, President of the All India Muslim Women Association and a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, she underscored the critical role of education in empowering women and the need for dedicated institutions to ensure accessible and quality learning opportunities.

The massive turnout at the event signaled a growing awareness among women regarding the importance of education and the necessity of establishing exclusive educational institutions for girls. The foundation of the new Inter Girls’ College is a significant step toward bridging the educational gap and fostering an environment where women can pursue knowledge and contribute to society.

Religious scholars and community leaders present at the event lauded the efforts of Maulana Shaukat Ali Mazhahiri and Maulana Kaleemuzzama Qasmi in championing the cause of women’s education. They urged families to encourage their daughters to seek education, highlighting its transformative impact on society.

The conference concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen educational initiatives for women, reinforcing the belief that an educated woman is the foundation of an empowered society.
