RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has received a formal invitation to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Bhagwat stated, “It is my good fortune to be a part of such a grand occasion.” The invitation was extended by the Ram Temple construction committee chairperson Nripendra Misra and VHP working president Alok Kumar.
Bhagwat highlighted the widespread ‘enthusiasm’ in villages and households for the opening of the Ram Temple, calling it an occasion to solidify the dignity and purity of the country.
He said the rebuilding of the temple was the symbol of India’s identity through righteous efforts, declaring it as a message to the world that India stands strong and will contribute to global prosperity and peace.
Describing the opportunity to attend the consecration ceremony as a blessing, Bhagwat said, “Through this, we have found the direction that should be ours, which we were trying to find for many decades.”
The consecration ceremony on January 22 will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and thousands of seers from across the country.
RSS and VHP volunteers have been actively reaching out to people nationwide, inviting them to join the ceremony by offering prayers at local temples.
The RSS had earlier discussed plans to make the inauguration of the Ram Temple a “grand success” during its national executive meeting in November.
