In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a 6-year-old Muslim girl was raped on Wednesday morning by a 30-year-old man named Lalu Paswan from a neighboring village.
According to the victim’s mother, Lalu Paswan lured her daughter to the field by pretending to offer her watermelon. It was there that he committed the crime, leaving the young girl in critical condition.
“He left her bleeding profusely. She is too young to understand all of this,” said the grieving mother during an interview with a local reporter.
Angry residents have expressed their intention to surround the police station if the perpetrator does not face severe punishment.
During the incident, when the girl began screaming, her mouth was forcefully covered and her clothes were torn.
According to the FIR filed by the minor girl’s family, Lalu Paswan is a resident of Kukuria Village, Saraiya Police Station, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
Upon hearing the child’s cries, two women arrived at the scene and discovered Lalu Paswan and the young girl in a helpless state, with the girl covered in blood.
Subsequently, the two women and other villagers apprehended Lalu Paswan and handed him over to the local police station in Saraiya.
It is reported that the girl was bleeding profusely from her private parts.
The child’s mother is demanding the strictest legal action against Lalu Paswan and immediate medical treatment for her daughter.
The Muzaffarpur police station is yet to be reached for a comment. We will update this report soon. Sources indicate that although the police swiftly responded to the incident, they have refrained from issuing any statements at this time.
