Nagpur Horror: 15-Year-Old Gang-Raped in Moving Car by Social Media ‘Friend’

Gujarat

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped inside a moving car in Nagpur, Maharashtra, by a man she had befriended on social media. Police arrested the accused, who was known to the victim, after the incident came to light.

The two had initially connected online and later met in person, when the assault occurred. Authorities have registered a case under relevant sections of the POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

In a similar case in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a factory laborer on June 27. The accused lured the child to an isolated spot before assaulting her.

“The girl was bleeding when she returned home, which alerted her parents,” said a police official. An FIR was filed under the POCSO Act and BNS.

Meanwhile, in another shocking incident, a BSF jawan’s wife accused her brothers-in-law of repeatedly raping and blackmailing her with explicit videos. The survivor stated that the assaults occurred when her mother-in-law was away, and the accused used the recordings to silence her.

“One suspect has been arrested, and an FIR has been lodged against seven individuals, including her in-laws,” police confirmed.

(Names of survivors withheld to protect identity as per legal guidelines.)
