Mohammed Faiz Khan, a member of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an organisation affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has made sexually charged remarks about All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora, in a video shared by Mohammad Zubair of Alt News.
Bora is a vocal critic of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and of BJP-led governments at the Centre and in the states. In a video, Khan described her with the word “maada,” which loosely means a female. He argued that a woman can be a mother, sister, aunt or daughter, and that Bora fits none of these roles. In the video, he said, “Neha Bora is not a woman or a girl.” He added that her only purpose was to attract men.
Khan also brushed aside Bora’s demand for the CEC’s resignation and for accountability from the Narendra Modi-led Union government, calling it mere antics.
Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair shared the clip on X on October 3 and drew attention to Khan’s background. Zubair wrote Khan belongs to the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, which he described as an RSS-linked body founded by Indresh Kumar. “Look at how he is sexualising Neha Bora,” Zubair wrote. He added that several television anchors regularly invite Khan to debates and present him as a Muslim scholar, which he called shameful.
Khan runs an Instagram account with about 180,000 followers, most of whom, are Hindutva supporters. His bio says he is for world peace. He also runs a YouTube channel with nearly 40,000 subscribers.

According to khan, his videos speak of what he calls an anti-Muslim narrative in India meant to create communal tension. At the same time, he dismisses mob lynchings, targeted hate crimes against Muslims and hate speech by Hindutva and BJP leaders.
Bora was detained by Delhi Police on Saturday, October 3, at the Jantar Mantar protest site.
