According to Siddhmukh station house officer Imran Khan, the woman constable, in a complaint submitted to the Churu superintendent of police, alleged that she was sexually assaulted by the four accused in 2017 during her posting at the Sardarshahar police station.

Following her complaint, a case was registered against the four men at the Siddhmukh police station.

One of the accused is sub-inspector Subhash, who was serving as the station house officer of Sardarshahar police station at the time of the alleged incident.
