Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar has said that attempts to divide Hindus and Muslims will ultimately fail, asserting that people or political groups trying to create divisions in society “will definitely face defeat.”
Addressing the media in Delhi, Kumar said India is witnessing a gradual change, particularly among young people, who are increasingly linking education with national development and social progress.
“A gradual transformation is taking place in the country. A sentiment is awakening among the youth that if we channel education towards national progress, we can build a better nation — a better Hindustan,” he said.
‘Hindus and Muslims Can Live Together’
During his address, Kumar stressed the importance of communal harmony and said efforts should be made to promote love and eliminate hatred in society.
“This event conveys a message of love and calls for the eradication of hatred. It challenges those who believed that Hindus and Muslims could not coexist, inspiring them instead to come together, live together, and move forward together,” Kumar said.
He added that groups attempting to divide the country on religious lines would eventually lose public support.
“Ultimately, the parties that seek to divide and fragment the country will inevitably face defeat one day. People will teach them a lesson,” he said.
Muslim Rashtriya Manch and RSS Outreach
Indresh Kumar is a senior member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and part of its national executive body. He is also known as the chief patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an organisation established in 2002 to engage with Muslim communities and promote dialogue around the RSS’s ideology.
Mohan Bhagwat Begins Bihar Visit
Meanwhile, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Bihar on Sunday for a five-day visit. He is scheduled to participate in a workers’ training camp at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Munger.
The residential training programme is attended by around 700 selected RSS volunteers from Bihar and Jharkhand, who are taking part in organisational and leadership training sessions.
