Donald Trump Warns ‘Whole Civilization Will Die’ If Iran Ultimatum Expires

After stalled negotiations, Donald Trump suggests fresh diplomatic talks with Iran in Pakistan, amid conflict escalation and nuclear concerns.

US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, saying that “a whole civilization will die” if the country does not accept American demands in the ongoing conflict.

In a post on his platform TruthSocial, Trump wrote, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”

He did not give specific details about the warning, but his statement has raised global concern as tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran continue to rise.

Threat to Target Civilian Infrastructure

Trump has already suggested that US forces could strike key infrastructure in Iran, including bridges and power plants. Earlier, he warned that such attacks could push the country “into the stone age.”

On Monday, Trump said that US forces could begin large-scale strikes later in the day, targeting major facilities across Iran. Experts have warned that attacks on civilian infrastructure could violate international law and lead to heavy civilian casualties.

Deadline Over Strait of Hormuz

The US President has set a deadline of midnight GMT Tuesday for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route used for transporting oil and other goods.

The waterway is one of the most important in the world, with a significant portion of global energy supplies passing through it. Any disruption could have serious consequences for international markets and economies.

Trump has made it clear that failure to meet the deadline could lead to immediate military action.

Iran Rejects US Pressure

Iran has refused to accept the US demands. According to state media, Iranian authorities have said they want a complete end to the war rather than a temporary ceasefire.

Trump also dismissed a ceasefire proposal being discussed, calling it insufficient. However, he hinted that a last-minute agreement could still be possible.

“Now that we have complete and total regime change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen. Who knows? We will find out tonight,” he said.

Ongoing Strikes and Rising Tensions

The situation on the ground remains tense. US and Israeli airstrikes have been targeting Iran since late February. On Tuesday, Iranian officials reported that the important oil export terminal on Kharg Island was under attack.

The continued strikes and threats have raised fears of a wider war in the region. Analysts warn that any further escalation could lead to severe humanitarian consequences and disrupt global energy supplies.
