UP: ‘Jai Shri Ram’ written on Walls of Mosque in Baghpat, Police Launch Search for Culprits

In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, tensions arose when Jai Shri Ram was discovered inscribed on the walls of a mosque in Sarurpur.

This incident led to protests within the Muslim community.

Police has taken action to clean the defaced walls, and an search for the individuals responsible for this act is currently underway.

Circle Officer Vijay Chaudhary siad that the police received information about the deplorable act of defacement, which they believe to have been carried out by “unidentified anti-social elements” within the Sarurpur Kalan village.

“A case has been filed against those responsible, and the police will take with legal action against them accordingly,” he said.
