UP Policeman Suspended for Pro-Palestine Facebook Post

In Uttar Pradesh, India, a police officer named Suhail Ansari has been suspended for a Facebook post in which he expressed support for Palestine. In the post, Ansari shared his views and solidarity with Palestine.

The inquiry, led by an additional superintendent of police, Lakhimpur Kheri, is examining all aspects of the constable’s conduct, including his support for Palestine on social media.

The authorities have stated that they are investigating the matter thoroughly, and if the constable is found to be at fault, stern action will be taken. The social media post in question called for donations to support Palestine, stating, “Help Save Palestine. I Repost=$1. All Donations Are Directly Sent To….Add To Story To Help Save Palestine.”
