The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is making fast progress in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Recent images released on social media by the Trust reveal that the temple’s ground floor is nearing completion, with the installation of pillars on the first floor underway.

A Trust spokesman stated, “The ground floor and the sanctum-sanctorum of the temple are almost complete, and final touches are being given. Pillars are being installed on the first floor, with plans to complete construction work on the temple’s first floor by the time it is opened for devotees in January.”

The Trust said that 160 pillars have already been installed on the temple’s ground floor. The first and second floors are projected to have 132 and 74 pillars, respectively.

The Uttar Pradesh government has granted approval for a Rs 20-crore laser and sound show at the majestic Ram ki Paidi Ghat situated on the bank of the Saryu River in Ayodhya. Officials have confirmed that this show will be offered to visitors free of charge. The UP Project Corporation Limited (UPPCL), a state government body, has commenced the erection of steel pillars near the Nageshwar Nath temple on the ghat.

Dileep Gaur, project manager at UPPCL, provided insights into the project, stating, “Two pillars, each towering at 65 feet, will be constructed at the ghat, akin to German hangars. A curtain measuring 30 feet in width and 200 feet in length will be erected between these pillars.”

The initiation of this grand project received approval from the Yogi Adityanath government last year, and funds for its execution have been released this year.
