Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Sends 30 Trucks of Relief to Flood-Hit Punjab Districts

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has sent a convoy of 30 trucks carrying humanitarian aid worth about five million rupees to flood-affected districts of Punjab. The relief, sent under the leadership of Jamiat president Maulana Mahmood Madani, will reach areas including Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapoor Thala, Anjala, Gurdaspur, Ferozepur, and Ludhiana.

The convoy was led by Maulana Muhammad Yahya Karimi, Nazim-e-Ala of Haryana. During the flag-off, members of Jamiat, Punjab government ministers, several activists, and members of the Sikh community were present.

Local Sikh groups welcomed the effort and praised Jamiat for extending a helping hand to hundreds of struggling families.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Madani said the initiative was guided by the spirit of service. “We do all of this for the sake of Allah — to please Him. We stand with our Sikh brothers who are well known for serving humanity, and we believe Allah sends help to those who help others around them,” he said.

The Jamiat stressed that it considers it its duty to support people in need, regardless of religion or nation. “The whole world is like a family of Allah and the best person is the one who serves everyone,” a Jamiat member said.
