Family members of Dalit icons B R Ambedkar, Jagjivan Ram, Kanshi Ram, and other prominent figures from scheduled castes have been extended invitations for the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Family members of Karsevaks who lost their lives during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement have also been included in the guest list, which will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The invitation list extends beyond political boundaries, with only Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from the host state being invited. The event is expected to draw a diverse audience, including farmers, labourers, and seers from various parts of the country.
The guest list also features esteemed personalities, including three retired chief justices of the Supreme Court, former chiefs of the army, navy, and air force, retired ambassadors, top bureaucrats, and IPS officers in key positions. Political party presidents and representatives from Ayodhya-based branches of all parties are also part of the attendees.
Tribal communities, nomadic castes, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and individuals from various walks of life. Representatives of volunteer organizations, Bharat Ratna, Param Vir Chakra, Padma Award recipients, educationists, intellectuals, poets, artists, litterateurs, farmers, labourers, and sportspersons have also received invitations for the Ayodhya ceremony.
The gathering will include storytellers, trustees of monasteries and temples, pujaris from over 150 traditions, prominent figures from the Sant Samaj in Nepal, and representatives from the Jain, Buddhist, and Sikh communities. Major donors and 55 individuals from the Hindu society residing in 50 different countries are also part of the invited guests.
