A Muslim cattle trader was violently attacked by a group of individuals reportedly affiliated with the Hindutva Bajrang Dal organization in Babaleshwar Taluk, located in Karnataka’s Vijayapura district.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Bande Nawaz, was transporting two bulls, a buffalo calf, and a cow from Babaleshwar to Vijayapura when the attackers intercepted his vehicle. These assailants are believed to be associated with Bajrang Dal leaders Viresh Hiremath and Raju Biradara.

Once they stopped Nawaz’s vehicle, the Hindutva extremists proceeded to assault him mercilessly upon discovering the cattle inside, leaving him severely injured and bleeding profusely.

A viral video has been circulating that shows the victim receiving medical treatment at a district hospital. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many demanding severe punishment for the group of 15-20 individuals involved in the attack.
