FIR Registered Against Virat Kohli’s Restaurant, Others for Operating Beyond Permitted Hours

VIRAT scaled 1

An FIR has been registered against the manager of One8 Commune, a restaurant that is co-owned by cricket star Virat Kohli, and four other establishments for allegedly operating beyond permitted hours, police reported on Tuesday.

“After we received complaints that certain pubs and hotels were operating beyond the permitted time, a special drive was carried out on the night of July six,” a police officer stated.

The drive was carried out after complaints against several restaurants and pubs in central Bengaluru were operating beyond the mandated closing time of 1 am. A sub-inspector from the Cubbon Park police station, during his patrolling hours, found that One8 Commune was still operating at 1:20 am against the regulations.

An FIR has been registered based on the violations against the manager of One8 Commune and four other establishments under the Karnataka Police Act at the Cubbon Park police station.
