PM Modi, CM Yogi can fulfil the dream of ‘Akhand Bharat’: AIMJ National Head

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi

In a striking remark on Saturday, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, leader of the All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMJ), expressed his belief that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have the potential to create Akhand Bharat—the dream of a unified India extending beyond its current borders.

For Razvi, this vision is not merely aspirational but achievable under their leadership.

In an interview with IANS, Maulana Razvi noted that with the BJP in power at the Centre and PM Modi leading from Delhi, alongside CM Yogi earning international recognition for governance in Uttar Pradesh, these two leaders are well-positioned to take steps toward this goal.

His remarks follow a recent rally in Jammu and Kashmir where Yogi Adityanath said that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is demanding separation from Pakistan and that the region would soon join India under BJP’s leadership.

Maulana Razvi supported Yogi’s statements, emphasizing that India remains incomplete without Sindh. He referenced the historical context of Sindh, which was part of India before the 1947 partition.

According to him, not just Pakistan but regions like Afghanistan and Bangladesh, which were part of India before partition, could one day rejoin the country to create an Akhand Bharat.

During the rally, CM Yogi also highlighted the peaceful elections in Jammu and Kashmir, crediting the current government for fostering such an environment. He further described Pakistan as a threat to humanity, calling it a “cancer” that the world must eradicate.
