Accused in Nasir-Junaid Murder Case Monu Manesar Reveals Shocking Details During Interrogation

In a recent development in the Nasir-Junaid murder case, the prime accused, Monu Manesar, currently in police custody, has unveiled a disturbing sequence of events leading up to the heinous crime.

Monu Manesar is now being held at the Mathura Gate police station in a secure location, where Deeg police are conducting intense interrogations.

Monu said that the murder of Junaid and Nasir and the events leading up to it were planned by a gang of individuals with sinister intentions.

According to Monu, the entire conspiracy was hatched eight days before the fateful night of February 14-15, when Junaid and Nasir were abducted and subsequently burned alive. The planning encompassed every detail of the operation, including the when, how, and where of abducting both victims.

One of the accused involved in the crime had allegedly provided Monu Manesar with crucial information, including vehicle numbers and mobile numbers of the victims. This information was used to formulate their nefarious plot.

Monu Manesar, a key player in this act, personally scouted the Rajasthan border region several days before the incident. After the planning, the kidnappers seized Junaid and Nasir in their own Bolero car during the night of February 14-15.

However, things took an unexpected turn when the kidnappers discovered they did not have a cow, leading to a confrontation with Monu. Tensions escalated, resulting in the assault on both victims. In their severely injured state, they were transported to the Firozpur Jhirka police station.

Shockingly, the police at that station refused to accept Junaid and Nasir. Junaid, along with his vehicle, was set ablaze in a nearby forest.

The arrest of Monu Manesar sheds light on his attempts to evade justice. Following his implication in the murder of Junaid and Nasir, he managed to flee to Thailand and took refuge in Bangkok. However, the Nuh police apprehended him upon his return to his hometown of Manesar.

After a court appearance, preparations were underway to remand Monu to jail. Deeg police intervened, obtaining a transit remand from the court. Due to security concerns, a makeshift court was set up at the Kaman police station. Monu now finds himself in police custody, facing intense interrogation regarding the shocking details he has revealed.

Who is Monu Manesar?

Mohit Yadav, also known as Monu Manesar, is a 28-year-old individual who has made headlines for his alleged involvement in the Nasir-Junaid murder case and the lynching of Waris Khan. He is a member of the Bajrang Dal, a right-wing Hindu group, and also heads the Cow Protection Unit of Bajrang Dal in Nuh.

Monu Manesar had been on the run for several months but was recently arrested by Haryana Police on September 13, 2023. His arrest was related to charges of inciting communal violence and violating the Arms Act. He has been remanded to 14-day judicial custody due to his alleged role in the double murder case of Nasir and Junaid. Additionally, the Rajasthan Police took custody of Monu Manesar shortly after his arrest by Haryana Police.

Monu Manesar is believed to have played an important role in the religious violence that occurred in Haryana, particularly in inciting tensions leading up to the violent incident involving Hindu nationalist groups such as the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).

He is accused of releasing a video just two days before a religious procession organized by these groups, which ultimately led to clashes after the procession was pelted with stones. In the video, he can be seen urging Hindus to participate in large numbers in the procession.
