Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Article 370 is permanently revoked, granting unprecedented autonomy to the people of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh to shape their destinies.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, the Prime Minister said that he prioritized the nation in all his roles as a BJP worker, Chief Minister, and Prime Minister.

“With Article 370 gone forever, the people of J-K and Ladakh, for the first time, are free to shape their destinies with their own hands,” said the Prime Minister, responding to a question about the Supreme Court judgment on Article 370.

PM Modi said that the government focused on a multifaceted approach to security, development, infrastructure investment, and human capital.

The government introduced reforms to enhance living standards, promote economic growth, and create employment opportunities for the people of the region, the PM said.
