Bahraich Violence: Sarfaraz and Fahim Shot During Encounter, Sister Had Warned of ‘Encounter’

Among the 5 suspects who were arrested in the Bahraich violence have been injured in gunshot firing during an encounter with police on October, 17. As per reports, in an encounter with Bahraich district police, Sarfaraz and Fahim are facing severe wounds as the police shot their feet. The injured are now shifted to the hospital for treatment. 

The two are sons of the family where Gopal Mishra fluttered saffron flags amid a dispute over the loudspeaker and was killed.

Sister of Sarfaraz and Fahim, Rukhsar already predicted and expressed fear and insecurity about her family. 

She said that police arrested her two brothers, and father on 16 October around 4 PM and expressed fear of a “staged encounter” against them. Talking to local media, Rukhsar said that the government has already arrested her husband and brother-in-law and appealed to CM Yogi and PM Modi to ensure protection. However, nobody responded to her appeal.
