Bihar: Two Arrested In AIMIM Leader Arif Jamal’s Murder Case

AIMIM district coordinator Arif Jamal was shot dead twice in the stomach by bike-riding assailants on Saturday night. While talking about this case, the police have arrested two people.

Siwan Police on Monday said that the incident of firing at Arif Jamal, convenor of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM by two bike-riding assailants. In this case, the police arrested two criminals with weapons and cartridges.

According to SP Shailesh Kumar Sinha, the arrested criminals have been identified as Rajan Mishra, also known as Archit Mishra, and Rohit Yadav, alias Ladla, who were also involved in firing at two other locations in the city.

“They are among the top ten criminals of the district and have several cases against them,” said SP Shailesh Sinha.

Mishra and Yadav have reportedly confessed to their involvement in the tragic killing of Arif at a tea shop in Qutub Chhapra during the night of December 23rd.

Their actions were carried out on the directives of Rishu Pandey, a criminal currently incarcerated for the murder of BJP leader Shivaji Pandey.

According to reports, the duo, along with their associates, were found to have engaged in additional criminal activities, including firing shots at the residence of Rafi Ahmed in MM Colony and targeting the Siwan Glass House on Babuniya Road.

These acts were allegedly perpetrated to assert their dominance in the region.

Siwan Police has commendably achieved this success under the able guidance of SDPO Firoz Alam.
