A ‘Brahma Ekta’ conference was recently held in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, attended by many BJP leaders and prominent figures including Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, former Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, BJP MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, and BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

Speaking to reporters, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla told that Brahmins inherently possess a nationalist spirit. He credited Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya for founding the Brahm Samaj, highlighting the event’s objective of promoting unity and societal guidance.

Governor Shukla lauded the Uttar Pradesh government’s actions under Yogi Adityanath in dealing with the Ram Gopal Mishra case, stating that the Brahmin community supports the administration’s handling of the situation.

BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma added that the conference aimed to promote social harmony, asserting that the message of unity and the vision of a developed India should extend not only within the country but also to Indian communities abroad.

Former Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, who also attended the event, said the purpose of the conference is to unite all the Brahmin organisations and to make the society more aware.

“The Brahmin community has always moved forward taking along all sections of society. It has been working dedicatedly for the betterment of the nation. Also, we must make people aware of the forces conspiring to mislead the society,” Mishra said.

Mishra urged adherence to constitutional teachings, drawing parallels between the principles of the Constitution, the Gita, and the Ramayana. He also condemned the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra, reiterating that no one should take the law into their own hands and praised the state government’s swift action.

Earlier, while addressing the people on the stage, Nupur Sharma said that does our law allow the brutal murder of someone for removing the flag? She said that people will have to think about the country and then about Sanatan.

Shiv Pratap Shukla, a resident of Rudrapur in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district, began his political career with the RSS-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He joined the BJP in 1983 and served as an MLA in multiple terms before being elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2016.
