On Monday evening in Bulandshahr, a government official from the Agricultural Department reportedly raped a 6-year-old girl at her home. When he was allegedly “not satisfied,” he also raped a goat.
The victim’s family said that the perpetrator used to visit the village quite often for his work. When he saw the girl playing outside with a boy of her age with no adults around them, he assaulted her.
The accused, Gajendra Singh, a 57-year-old man working as an Assistant Development Officer (ADO) was caught doing this heinous crime by his neighbour’s child who recorded it.
The videos went viral on X, where he was seen forcing the girl and assaulting her and in another video he was assaulting a goat.
Ahmedgarh Police, reacting to the videos, said, “ A regrettable incident was brought to our attention from Bulandshahr. A man who is identified as Gajendra Singh who is an ADO in Shikarpur block made a 6-year-old innocent girl a victim and had unnatural sex with a goat.”
The accused was suspended from his department and was arrested by the Police.
The girl’s father and his wife were working on a farm when the incident occurred. The next day, the girl and the boy narrated the entire incident to them and they registered a police complaint.
The survivor’s father, in his complaint, stated, “He (the accused) came to our house for some inspection when me and my wife were out for work. When my daughter told him that we were not in the house, he entered the house and did the gruesome act.”
Shobit Kumar, Shikarpur Circle Officer said, “A forensic team collected samples and the girl was sent for medical examination”.
“She is currently stable,” he added.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced ₹8.25 lakh compensation and ordered the Senior Superintendent and District Magistrate to go meet the survivor’s family and assist the investigation.
