‘Don’t Daydream About My Jawani Or Bedroom’: Kangana Ranaut Hits Back At Baba Ramdev

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has hit back at yoga guru Baba Ramdev after he criticised her controversial remarks about Gen Z protesters, telling him not to “daydream” about her youth or private life.

The exchange began after Ramdev questioned Kangana’s past while commenting on her description of some young protesters as “Generation Gutter”.

Kangana’s Sharp Response to Ramdev

Sharing a screenshot of a news report on Instagram, Kangana wrote, “Baba ji, don’t daydream about my jawani or bedroom. One can only assume based on rumours and gossip.”

She then referred to the Supreme Court’s 2024 proceedings involving Ramdev and Patanjali over misleading advertisements.

“At least mujhe kabhi Supreme Court se fatkar nahi lagi for false/fraud efficacy claims based on hard facts, not some gossip or assumptions,” she wrote.

Kangana further said, “So don’t give me character lessons. Tumse toh bahut zyada behtar hai mera character (My character is much better than yours). No fraud detected here.”

Her remarks were a direct response to comments attributed to Ramdev questioning her past and youth.

What Did Baba Ramdev Say?

Ramdev had criticised Kangana while discussing her comments about young protesters.

According to reports, he asked, “What were her past deeds like, and what was her youth like?” He also reportedly described her “Generation Gutter” remark as a reflection of a “corrupted” or “spoilt” mind.

The controversy stems from Kangana’s criticism of videos from protests in Delhi over alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG examination.

Why Kangana Called Some Protesters ‘Generation Gutter’

Kangana had earlier criticised the language and behaviour of some protesters and said she was referring to a particular section of young people rather than Gen Z as a whole.

She said, “Did I say that all youth belong to the gutter? I specifically referred to some people or some women.”

Defending her comments, she argued that some young people were involved in issues such as drug use, betting, gambling and the dark web, and said criticism of a particular group should not be interpreted as an attack on an entire generation.

She had also objected to abusive language allegedly used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the protests.

Kangana Invokes Ramdev’s Patanjali Case

Kangana’s reference to the Supreme Court relates to the 2024 case involving Ramdev and Patanjali Ayurved over misleading advertisements.

Ramdev and Patanjali managing director Acharya Balkrishna had submitted an unconditional apology to the Supreme Court after the company was accused of violating undertakings concerning advertisements for its products.
