At the Hindu Rashtra Convention held in Vrindavan, over 54 Hindu organizations gathered to discuss various issues in Mathura. One of the key demands raised during the convention was the urgent need for fast-track court hearings for the ongoing legal disputes in Kashi (Varanasi) and Mathura.

Dr. Charudatt Pingale, National Guide of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said that it is important to establish a Hindu Rashtra to preserve India’s cultural identity and integrity. He referred to a report by the Pew Research Center, which predicted that by 2050, India would have the highest Muslim population globally.

Dr. Pingale also raised “concerns” about alleged attempts to create separate Christian nations in Manipur and Mizoram, and warned about threats like “land jihad” through the Waqf law.

“The creation of a Hindu Rashtra is crucial to safeguard our cultural identity,” Dr. Pingale said. “We must remain vigilant about the challenges posed by demographic changes and threats to our unity.”

During the convention, Dr. Anurag Krishna Pathak Maharaj reiterated the demand for the Kashi and Mathura disputes to be heard in a fast-track court to expedite justice. The need for a ban on “illegal halal certification” was also mentioned by Guruji Pawan Sinha, who welcomed the Uttar Pradesh government’s recent decision in this regard.

Acharya Pranwanand Saraswati expressed concern over the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. “We urge the Indian government to put pressure on the Bangladesh government to protect the rights of Hindus there,” he said.

In line with these demands, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has started an online petition calling for the establishment of a fast-track court for the Kashi and Mathura temple disputes.

The convention saw participation from more than 120 representatives, including saints, lawyers, intellectuals, and activists from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Jammu. The following major demands were put forward:

  1. Fast-track court hearings for the Kashi and Mathura disputes.
  2. A nationwide ban on “illegal” halal certificates.
  3. Strong actions to protect Hindus in Bangladesh from ongoing attacks.
