On Friday, Hindutva men allegedly forced their way into a prayer room and harassed Muslim schoolgirls who were praying during lunchtime at a school in Wanaparthy, Telangana.
This incident occurred at Chanakya High School on Friday, 23 August when some girls were offering namaz with permission of school authorities in an allotted room, while they were praying some men rushed into the room and created a fuss they also threatened the school authority.
Six days have passed since the accident took place no FIR has been lodged nor has any arrest been made to date.
Amjadullah Khan (spokesperson of Majlis Bachao Tehreek) condemned this act through a social media post on X, he also requested Revanth Reddy (chief minister of Telangana) and SP to investigate the matter.
“as the said incident has not only hurted muslim sentiments but has created fear among parents and students,” Amjadullah Khan said. (sic).
