‘Ramadan Teaches Humanity’: Villagers Across Faiths Share Iftar Meal, Pray for Peace and Progress in Muzaffarnagar’s Kulhedi

An Iftar gathering held in Kulhedi village of Charthawal area in Muzaffarnagar district became a symbol of communal harmony as people from different communities came together to share the meal and spread a message of unity during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from residents across communities, highlighting the spirit of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence. Villagers described the programme as an example of how festivals can bring people closer and strengthen social bonds.

Former Block Pramukh Ranjan Veer Singh Attends as Chief Guest

Former Block Pramukh Ranjan Veer Singh attended the Iftar as the chief guest. He joined the fasting participants in breaking their fast and extended greetings on the occasion of Ramadan.

Speaking at the event, Ranjan Veer Singh said, “The holy month of Ramadan teaches us humanity, patience and sacrifice. Such gatherings strengthen unity and mutual respect among people.”

He appreciated the efforts of the organisers for arranging the programme and said that harmony between communities is essential for the development of society.

Villagers Pray for Peace and Progress

A large number of respected villagers, elders, youth and children were present at the Iftar. People offered prayers for peace, prosperity and progress in the region. The atmosphere remained peaceful and filled with warmth as families interacted with one another.

Residents said that the programme reflected the true spirit of Ramzan, which encourages compassion and togetherness. Many participants expressed happiness that members of different faiths shared the same platform and meal.

One local resident said, “When we sit together and share food, we forget our differences. This is the real strength of our village.”

The Iftar concluded with greetings and exchanges of goodwill among attendees. The event ended on a note of unity and brotherhood, reinforcing the message that communal harmony remains strong in Kulhedi village of Muzaffarnagar.
