Following India’s victory in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has been trolled and abused on social media for his “Thank you almighty Allah” tweet.
Early this morning, Siraj shared a photograph of the team lifting the World Cup trophy and wrote, “Thank you almighty Allah.”
Virat Kohli, who thanked God for the victory in his post-match comments, received widespread praise and was celebrated by many fans, with several calling him a “True Sanatani.”
A tweet received a lot of attention and read: “Virat Kohli thanked God for the victory. Bhakts: Yeyeyeye, True Sanatani. Siraj thanks Allah for the victory. Bhakts: Isme Allah kaha se aaya B$dk, mc.. This h@te is unreal.”
In contrast, Mohammed Siraj’s expression of gratitude to Allah for the victory was met with negative reactions from some social media users. He was abused by some, while others directed derogatory comments at Islam and Allah.
